"I absolutely hate (love) adventure, and want nothing (everything) to do with one that involves such a disgusting (beautiful) thing like MUSIC!"
It was easy for Kaleb, growing up in Nashville and having an active musician as a father, to come into the art of music at some point; for him it was middle school. A band kid throughout all of school, Kaleb is no stranger to different styles or instruments. Some of these were taught to him, but most were of his own curiosity. The idea of playing music in a band began as multiple attempts at different instruments resulting in the final decision to stick with bass, at least for a little while…
Around this time, Kaleb had become friends with brothers Colin and Gentry; and the three occasionally discussed ideas of writing music. However, it wasn’t until a few years later that Colin brought up the idea of joining him in the then-trio, Neptune the Mystic, Eager to start learning a new instrument and playing shows, Kaleb leapt at the idea to join. Finding a decent setup for a solid sound, Kaleb set about learning and writing.
